YSAPC will meet on August 21 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the LifeWorks East Site, 835 N. Pleasant Valley Rd. Agenda includes: Joseph Dias who will present on dually diagnosed adolescents, trauma response and affect and how the ACEs can very much dictate the social-emotional tendency to invite substance use. Jessica Miller will present on NAMI Austin’s programs, which help families and individuals who are navigating mental illness. And we will take nominations and vote on the 5 Executive Committee positions – Chair, Co-Chair, Past Chair, Secretary, Treasurer
