YSAPC Annual Meeting

At our August meeting – August 13, 11:30-1:30 at LifeWorks East Site – we will hold our annual elections for the YSAPC Executive Committee.  We encourage you to nominate a current YSAPC member, including yourself, to take on a leadership role in the Coalition and join in the mission to establish and strengthen collaboration among community partners that support efforts to prevent or reduce youth substance abuse in Travis County!  Please submit names with the Executive Committee position to Monet Munoz by August 8, 2019.  The ongoing time commitment for an Executive Committee members is about 3-4 hours per month and includes planning for, attending, and actively participating in 2-hour Executive Committee meetings and 2-hour Membership Meetings on alternative months.  YSAPC also organizes 1-2 yearly events, such as the Prevention Summit, that would increase the time commitment close to the scheduled event, and regularly engages in outreach, recruitment and strategic planning.  Membership will vote on 5 Executive Committee Member positions:  Chair, Co-Chair, Past Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
