Underage Drinking Prevention Task Force meeting from 10:30 AM to noon at the Howson Library (2500 Exposition Blvd.)
Dottie McDonald with SmartStart Inc. will discuss new alcohol monitoring technology for the purpose of monitoring low risk offenders, including first time offenders, treatment court participants, aftercare, voluntary participants, deferred adjudication, underage drinkers and parents of young drivers.
Darcel Grounds will present on the Starlite Recovery Center’s Adolescent Program, a stand-alone program that offers detox and residential services for youth of all genders ages 13-17.
