Dr. Robert Messing, Professor of Neurology at Dell Medical School – UT Austin, will discuss “The Addicted Brain: A Conversation about Alcohol and Drug Addiction.”

Parking: Complimentary parking is available on-site at the University of Texas Thompson Conference Center on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot 40, which is located at the intersection of Red River and Dean Keeton streets. Additional paid parking is available nearby in Manor Garage (MAG) on Clyde Littlefield Drive.

UT Brainstorms: A Conversation on the Brain is a new public outreach and education program from the Department of Neuroscience – The University of Texas at Austin. The series will provide information accessible to non-scientific audiences about a variety of neuroscience topics that relate to normal brain function, neurological diseases, overall brain health and generally how neuroscience research can improve everyday life.
