AGENDA: GUEST SPEAKER – Jennifer Haussler Garing, MS – Epidemiologist, State YRBS and Profiles Coordinator Texas Department of State Health Services. Ms. Garing will present on “Underage Drinking and Other Risky Behavior in the Texas 2017 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)”.
AGENCY SPOTLIGHT – Janna Allen – Community School Coordinator – Lanier High School Family Resource Center, Austin Voices for Education and Youth. Ms. Allen serves as the community organizer between the school and its surrounding community. She will speak on her role facilitating the collaborative process and the development of services and partnerships that benefit children, families and community members within a school neighborhood.
