Presenter: Gina Giachetti, Supervisory Special Agent of the Austin DEA Tactical Diversion Squad, will present on:
- DEA current strategies/funding to prevent or reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs among adolescents in Texas & in Travis County — DEA Travis County roles and partnership sites for Take Back Day on October 27; Data regarding Take Back Day in Texas & in Travis County
- Provide recommendations how YSAPC can get involved with DEA sponsored activities/initiatives/policies
- What drugs DEA is seeing being used
Spotlight on YSAPC Sector Member: Reverend Daryl Horton, Youth Minister/Asst. to the Pastor, Mount Zion Baptist Church, will talk about his work in the community, specifically in the area of youth engagement.
